Just recently I had the idea I would try to earn some money using the internet. Now the best way to do this, is to have a website of your own to use as a base for various activities.
I knew nothing about how to get a website and had always thought it to be an expensive business. I certainly knew nothing about how to build a website and I never even knew what a domain was. Surprise, surprise, I got one for free and I also have a couple of very cheap domains. The website has a resources centre which provides all the tools you need and all the help you need to build your site and it's all free. Of course, if you want to spend a bit for more advanced tools, you can do that too, but there's no obligation to.
The next thing I wanted to do was to find out how to use my site to create a bit of revenue, so I started browsing all the "how to make money " links. There's lots of them out there but you need to be very wary. Many ads on the net offer fantastic free incentive bonuses, tempting you to sign up. It's true, the sign up is free, so too are the bonuses, but, and a big but, what they are really doing is trying to sell you a program or a scheme in which those free bonuses can be put to use. One is no use without the other. so you buy whatever it is they're offering and if your really lucky you might make a little money. Before you know it whatever it is your involved in and whatever program you have purchased reaches a point where you have to buy something else to proceed to the next level. By the time you think the moneys started to come in, you also realise that you've spent far more than you had set out to. I should know I've been there.
Affiliate programs are one way to earn money, at least with them noone's trying to sell you anything, you can sign up to individual companies and earn commissions by directing traffic to their sales area from you site. Or, you can pay a small fee to organizations that produce long lists of companies you can become affiliated to. The problem here is, you have to have traffic coming to your site in order for you to direct them to these companies, but don't despair, there are free, or inexpensive ways of doing that too.
As for myself, well having started to build a site I needed a theme and I just couldn't think of one, until, that is, I thought, I wonder how many people there are out there in exactly the same position as me, wondering what to do, how to do, when to do whatever it is they need to do. So my plan is to build the site using all the information and links etc that I myself have used thus far. So if you want a website you can find an appropriate link at my site. If you need traffic you can get links to the correct information on my site. Whatever you need to get to where I am can be found at my site. Well I'm only just getting started but if you're in no rush (and you really don't want to be) then you can start off simple by just checking out the links in your own time. In the meantime I will see what I can do about adding to the content daily and try to keep everyone upto date with all the new ideas I find and all the pitfalls that go with them. I make no promises that everything will be to everyones liking but I will keep it simple and honest. There is a free classified ads section available for responsible people to make use of (no adult or racism please).
also if you like the idea of selling on ebay but have no stock or money to buy stock you might want to check out the links to dropshippers contained in my main page.
many of the links on my site i am actually affiliated to, so that will give you an idea of the sort of companies recruiting affiliates. All I would advise is that you click on the links one at a time and make notes, so that you can compare them and decide for yourself what's best for you before making any committments. It won't cost you anything to look and you can't be forced to sign up for anything you don't want. You might even find something you want that you never even expected to find there.
So, what are you waiting for ? Start clicking now.
