The obama administration housing plan launched two types of
assistance that were intended to help up to 9 million American
homeowners make mortgages more affordable: Refinancing and Loan
Modification. Government mortgage assistance program is intended for
homeowner who have fallen behind on their mortgage payments, or not
able to afford the monthly mortgage payments due to various reasons.
