was rated Money Magazine’s Top three best places to retire in July 2000 issue for similar reasons. Some of the reasons being: Sunkissed location on the Gulf of Mexico with 200+ sunny days per year and average year round temperature of 71 degrees. Sarasota county includes cities like Venice, Northport,
Longboat Key and Siesta Key and Sarasota has its own Symphony, Ballet, and Opera Companies along with the 1800 seat Van Weazel Art Center. Also, the Ringling Museum of Art established by circus baron
John Ringling who settled in the area in the 1920’s.

For Sport Buff - one hour away is the NFL Tampa Bay Buccaneers and hockey’s Lighting and Baseball’s
