Bulova Accutron SS Spaceview M6 - Nice
Beautiful man’s Accutron Spaceview wrist watch. Caliber 214 movement employs a tuning fork to keep time. The crown is on the back with the battery hatch. This watch was recently serviced and runs accurately. Near mint dial, case. These watches were first manufactured by Bulova in the 60's and were the forerunner to the quartz. This watch was manufactured in 1966 (M6). These accurate movements were also were used in the Explorer VII satellites because of their accuracy in zero gravity.
This is an original factory stainless Spaceview and has the ‘Chapter Ring’ with luminous hour markers and luminous centers in the hands. Has a small 9 mm crack in the crystal at 6:00 right at the bottom. You cannot see it unless you view at an angle. Comes with an Alligator strap and a gold filled Bulova signed buckle. $550 obo.
