Bulova Accutron Spaceview Anniversary Model - NOS
Very nice Accutron large head Spaceview caliber 214 NOS (new old stock in box). Stainless steel case is shaped like a tuning fork. Completely orgonial Anniversary model, chapter ring, baton hands, and orange second hand. Factory milling tool marks still on the back. Bulova built these Accutron watches in the 60’s and 70’s that employed a unique tuning fork movement to keep time.
Astronauts sometimes wore these watches during training because of their accuracy and these movements were also used in the Explorer VII satellites. Serial number xxx654 (manufactured only one year 1970). Watch has factory stainless band with signed deployment clasp. This watch has only handling marks, otherwise mint.
