Bulova Accutron Astronaut 14K gold Bezel
All original Astronaut in 14K gold-filled case with a 14K solid gold bezel. Caliber 214 movement employs a tuning fork to keep time. The crown is on the back with the battery hatch. Original Accutron signed strap with the Accutron emblem on the clasp. Rotating outer bezel with 24-hour markers and the ‘coin edge’ is still in good condition.
Bulova built these watches in the 60’s and 70’s, and their movements were also used in the Explorer VII satellites. Serial number 20485 M6 (manufacture date 1966), and very rare in this condition. Watch has been serviced and a new 1.55 Volt battery installed. $1195 + shipping. Questions? Email me.
