Major Update Being Released

We're in the final stages of completing a major update of the site. This update is set to be released by early February.

Short Descriptions On Ads

We're being a bit more strict on what type of ads we're accepting.  Many users are simply not putting enough content on their ads.  Here's some examples of what we're talking about:

 

"Please visit this website: http://mywebsite.com/mypage.html"

"My product is the best. Please contact me about the ad"

"This dog is cute and furry. Contact me."

 

Not only are those ads very short and lack description, but they waste the time of the visitors clicking on the page to read it.  Our internal stats support this.  Ads with little content produce the least amount of replies and have the most click-backs (visitors returning to the previous page).

New Affiliate Program

Due to popular demand, we'll be offering a new affiliate program. Payout will be between 30% to 45% per sale, depending on which program you choose. This program will give you the opportunity to have your very own classified ad site, just like this one! We take care of all orders and customer support issues. Your only job will be to let others know about your new site!

Q: Will this be free to join?
A: Yes, it will be free to join.

Q: Will I need my own domain?
A: Yes. Domains are really cheap these days. You can get one for as cheap as $5 per year.

Q: Will you host the domain for me?
A: We can host it for you for free, but it would have to be used exclusively for the affiliate program. If you want to use it for multiple purposes, such as putting other content on, you'll need to have the domain hosted elsewhere.

Q: How much can I make?
A: You'll make between $3 to $50 per sale.

Q: When will this program be available?
A: By mid April or earlier.

Tips For Keeping Your Account Secure

• Never share your password with anyone. If you receive an email asking for your password in any shape or form, please ignore it. We'll NEVER ask you for your password.
• Choose a password that contains at least 6 characters, with both letters and numbers.
• If you receive any emails that seem to be from us, but contains an attachment, don't open it. It's not from us, and probably contains a virus.
• Never give away sensitive information, such as your credit card number if someone requests it through email.
